Hi, I am Chris Wright
My role is to facilitate the design and execution of great digital products for a portfolio of high-profile clients. My background is varied and I bring to the table a thorough understanding of a broad range of specialties from Information Architecture to User Experience, Digital Strategy, Project and Product Management.
2014 - Present
In my current role, I act as an advocate for the end user; ensuring that our client’s products are built with the best user experience possible. Ultimately I am responsible for ensuring that the product delivered is the product envisioned through intricate planning, design, and testing during all stages of development.
2013 - 2014
At OpenSourcery, I acted as the advocate for testing throughout the process of building websites. I worked to create and integrate a single standardized QA process into all stages of development for a dozen projects simultaneously.
2011 - 2012
Worked with a multinational team of linguists and engineers to help improve the quality of Google’s advertising products through daily evaluations of the quality and relevance of hundreds of individual ads, web pages, and google searches to improve algorithms and create better ad targeting systems.
Pinterest Help Center
Relaunched the help center for Pinterest using a combination of cutting-edge React and AI driven natural language processing Chatbot tech to create a robust search experience.
Defined and rebuild a new content management system for NBA.com with an implementation of Drupal 8; including an extensively customized editorial backend, a custom front-end with multi-headed angular components, and integrations from external content systems and APIs.
Redesigned and rebuilt a new public facing visitor site for Weight Watchers in less than 9 weeks. Helped turn that one site into a multisite platform of 12 international sites with 16 language variants including automated workflows, built in training documentation, and a flexible component based design system that allows editors to create new complex designs without the need for new front-end code.
Led a redesign and rebranding effort for CrossFit to accelerate global growth through an audience-aware digital experience focused on increasing conversions. This included several rounds of executive stakeholder interviews, international surveys and user testing, and extensive user experience work while interfacing directly with CrossFit’s in-house development and product teams.
